Congressman Bobby Scott Endorses Luke Torian

For Delegate of the 52nd District

Luke and supporters gathered at the Old Hickory Golf Club at 7 pm that evening to receive the official endorsement of Congressman Robert C. “Bobby” Scott of Luke E. Torian as Delegate for the 52nd District!

It was an exciting time with prominent leaders such as Senator Toddy Puller, Occoquan Mayor Ernie Porta, Former Delegate David Brickley and others.   The beautiful setting at the Old Hickory Golf Club, along with the patriotic decorations and tasty hors d’oeurves enhanced the mood of anticipation.

Congressman Scott spoke of the issues important to his constituency and the reasons why Luke Torian is the best candidate for the House of Delegates.   He expressed his wholehearted endorsement noting the difference Luke’s win would mean for the Commonwealth. 

“Congressman Scott’s endorsement has added great momentum to our campaign,” Luke said as he graciously and humbly received the endorsement.  He expressed his gratitude to the Congressman for his presence and support and to all his supporters for their efforts.   He ended his comments reminding us that June 9th would prove us all victorious as he plans to win the primary, without a doubt!
